Calculate: type a timecode
(HH:MM:SS:FF) or a plain frame count into either field, pick
+ or –, and
the result shows as timecode, frames, and real seconds. A leading
- makes a value negative.
Across rates: the result is shown at every supported frame rate. Match real time keeps the same duration (a second stays a second), which is the meaningful conversion for the fractional rates. Match frame count keeps the same number of frames and just relabels them.
23.976, 29.97 and 59.94 are 24000/1001, 30000/1001 and
60000/1001; their timecodes still count frames at the rounded nominal
rate (24, 30, 60). Drop-frame (semicolon notation)
exists only for 29.97 and 59.94 and skips frame numbers to track wall-clock time.
The rate table is shown non-drop.
